Terms of Service

Line Pool is pool-management software. A commissioner sets up a squares or line pool board for a real game, shares one link, and the people on the board pick a spot by name. Line Pool runs the random draw, keeps score from the official game feed, and shows everyone the same board. It is provided for entertainment and organization.

Line Pool does not collect, hold, transfer, or pay out money, and has no wallet, balance, or payment feature. Whatever a group agrees among themselves is between the group; Line Pool has no part in it and no knowledge of it. Any note a commissioner writes on a board (including a payment handle) is the commissioner's own free text and is displayed as written. Line Pool never sets terms, holds anything, or confirms anything about it.

You must be 18 or older to create an account or run a board. Boards are run by their commissioner among their own group; Line Pool never runs a board itself, never plays, and never sets anything for anyone.

The commissioner is solely responsible for how their board is used and for complying with the laws that apply to them and their group, including any rules on charitable events where those apply. Some places do not allow this kind of group activity at all; check your local laws before running a board. Line Pool cannot advise you on them.

People join a board at the commissioner's discretion. Any question or disagreement about a board is between the participants and their commissioner. Line Pool provides the board; it does not referee.

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can change your name and password, delete a board you created, or delete your account from Settings at any time. Deleting your account keeps the boards you created available to the people on them until they finish and expire on our normal schedule (see the Privacy Policy).

Don't use Line Pool to:

• break the law, or run a board where doing so would;
• harass, impersonate, or post offensive names or notes (commissioners can clear any spot);
• scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the service or its game feed;
• present Line Pool as anything other than pool-management software.

We may pause or remove a board or account that violates these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. Where we can, we will say why.

Scores come from a third-party sports data feed and can be late, missing, or corrected. Draws are random and final once made. Line Pool is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and, to the extent the law allows, Line Pool and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, and total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past twelve months (currently nothing: Line Pool is free).

Final governing-law and dispute-resolution terms (including any arbitration provision) will be added on counsel's review. Until then, please write to us first; most things resolve in one email.

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Line Pool after a change means you accept it. Questions: producersamj@gmail.com.
